The following terms and conditions are relevant to The Original Cookware Company's website. Your use of the website and any orders that you may place through it will be subject to these terms and conditions. Please ensure that you fully understand and agree to them before proceeding with your order.
Shopping on line with us
Products may be purchased from the Original Cookware website by completing the online order form and submitting credit or debit card details via a secure server. Any orders placed by secure server will be confirmed via a confirmation email sent to the address supplied at the time of ordering. It will NOT include any card numbers or details. Receipt of this confirmation email simply confirms that your order has been received and acknowledged. You will then be sent a second email detailing the estimated delivery time, and further advice and information if the item is temporarily unavailable or out of stock.

The Original Cookware Company website is still under construction, and therefore, we cannot guarantee that it will always be available and accessible. We will always attempt to update the site at convenient times to our customers, yet on occasion, this may be beyond our control. Should you require further help, information or advice, please call our store.
Product Information and Clarification
We want every customer to be happy with their purchase and enjoy their shopping experience with us. Therefore, every effort has been made to provide you with accurate details and information for the products shown on our site. If you should require any further information about a stock item, please call our store where our sales staff will be happy to assist you. We cannot be held responsible for distorted product images, or accurate colour reproduction on your computer. There are also numerous products on our web site that cannot be sold to persons under the age of 18. These particular products are sharp, dangerous implements, and are in accordance with the 1996 Offensive Weapons Act, section 6.
All prices displayed are in British Pounds (Sterling) and are INCLUSIVE OF VAT @ 17.5%. All products available on the Original Cookware Company website have the price clearly indicated and we make every effort to ensure that these prices are both competitive and accurate. In the event that a price is incorrect, we will endeavour to clarify this with you and, within reason, will honour the advertised price. Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed prior to completion of your order. Please ensure that you review the total order amount prior to confirming your order to avoid any later confusion.
Payments can be made by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, and Solo Credit/Debit cards. Details for online transactions will be encrypted and held on a secure server. We currently do not accept payment by cheque or postal orders, but if you require further information about a payment method, please call us.
Every effort is made to ensure that products featured on the Original Cookware Company website are in stock and can be processed and dispatched quickly. We will endeavour to contact you at the earliest opportunity if a product is out of stock or unavailable. In this event, and having contacted you, there are three options you can consider:
- Cancel your order
- Choose an alternative product that we have in stock
- Maintain your original order, and we will despatch it as soon as it comes back into stock
Under no circumstances will your card payment be processed until your goods are about to be dispatched. We generally aim to dispatch stock items between 24-48 hours after we have received your initial order, and only use reputable couriers and delivery companies. We aim to have your goods delivered to you between 5-7 working days after your order has been confirmed.
Returns and Faulty Goods Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you wish to return your order, you can send it in its original condition and packaging to our Leicester branch. We strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as responsibility for the goods remains with you until they have safely been returned to us. In the unlikely event that a product purchased from us is faulty, we will offer you the choice of a full refund or a replacement. This, however, will only be relevant if the item is returned to us in its original condition and packaging. We will then follow manufacturers guidelines to access the product and then contact you with either a replacement item or a full refund. In the event of the item being replaced, it will be dispatched to you free of charge. If you opt for a refund, we will also reimburse you for the reasonable cost of returning the faulty item to us. Before returning any item to us, please email us with the product description and fault in order to obtain a return code.
By registering with our website, you will agree to us retaining your details for use in processing your order. We may contact you with information that we feel may be relevant to you and your shopping experience. On no occasion will we forward your personal details to a third party.
